Singer Sidhu Moosewala’s parents were blessed with a baby boy on Sunday, nearly two years after the tragic death of the renowned Punjabi artist in May 2022. Moosewala, the only child of his parents, Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur, was killed in Punjab, leaving his family devastated.
The joyous news of the arrival of Moosewala’s younger brother was shared by his father, Balkaur Singh, via a heartfelt post on Social Media. Singh expressed his gratitude for the new addition to their family, accompanied by a photo of the newborn and a celebratory cake adorned with Moose wala’s image in the background.
Sources revealed that Sidhu Moosewala’s parents had undergone the IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) procedure abroad last year, keeping the news confidential until its successful outcome.
Sidhu Moosewala, who had ventured into politics and contested the Punjab Assembly elections on a Congress ticket from Mansa in 2022, was tragically murdered on May 29 of the same year. The case garnered significant attention, with 31 individuals, including gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, being named in connection with the murder. As of now, 25 arrests have been made in relation to the case.
Despite Moosewala’s untimely demise, his legacy continues to resonate through his music. Known for his songwriting and production skills, Moosewala remained immensely popular among the masses, particularly the youth. Even posthumously, several of his songs were released and received millions of views.
The news of Charan Kaur’s pregnancy was confirmed in February, marking a new chapter of hope and happiness for Moosewala’s grieving family. With the arrival of Sidhu Moosewala’s younger brother, the family expresses their gratitude to well-wishers for their unwavering support.
