Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after participating in the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, announced the launch of the “Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana.” This ambitious initiative aims to harness solar energy by installing rooftop solar systems on one crore houses across the country.
In a social media post on X, PM Modi expressed the inspiration drawn from the energy radiating from the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. He remarked that the light of Suryavanshi Lord Shri Ram has been a source of energy for devotees worldwide and conveyed the resolution to provide the people of India with their solar rooftop systems.
“The first decision I have taken after returning from Ayodhya is that our government will launch ‘Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana’ with the target of installing rooftop solar on 1 crore houses,” PM Modi stated in his post.
