In a startling turn of events, Punjabi music composer and lyricist Bunty Bains narrowly evaded a potentially fatal attack in Mohali, Punjab. Bunty Bains, a close associate of the late singer Sidhu Moosewala, found himself at the center of a dangerous situation when unidentified gunmen opened fire at him while he was dining at a restaurant in Sector 79, Mohali.
Fortunately, Bunty Bains managed to escape unscathed from the harrowing ordeal. However, the gravity of the situation escalated when he received a threatening phone call following the attack, demanding a staggering ransom of ₹1 crore.
Upon filing a police complaint, authorities swiftly initiated an investigation into the incident. Video evidence of the attack revealed shattered glass windows and a bullet embedded in the wooden frame, underscoring the severity of the assault.
The threat reportedly came from an individual known as Lucky Patial, with alleged ties to criminal gangs led by Lawrence Bishnoi and Bambiha, further complicating the situation.
Bunty Bains, known for his close association with Sidhu Moosewala and his role in managing Moosewala’s work and business affairs, remains a prominent figure in the Punjabi music industry as a producer and talent manager.
The incident brings back grim memories of Sidhu Moosewala’s tragic demise in May 2022, when he was fatally shot by unidentified assailants in Punjab’s Mansa district.
