The controversy erupted after a viral video purportedly showed Elvish Yadav physically assaulting Sagar Thakur, prompting the Gurugram police to register a case against Yadav for assault and criminal intimidation.

Meanwhile, Sagar Thakur, also known as Maxtern, lodged a complaint with the Gurugram police, alleging assault and threats to his life by Elvish Yadav. The police have registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code based on Thakur’s complaint.
