Congress leader Rahul Gandhi embarked on a spirited roadshow in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, as part of his ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra,’ reaffirming the party’s commitment to safeguarding tribal rights and advocating for economic justice.

Addressing a fervent crowd, Rahul Gandhi underscored the Congress’s unwavering support for the ‘Jal-Jungle-Jamin’ (water, forest, and land) resources of tribal communities. The yatra, which resumed from Govindpur in Dhanbad city, aims to champion the cause of public sector units, address youth unemployment, and advocate for the rights of tribal populations across the country.

Rahul Gandhi‘s impassioned address highlighted the Congress’s steadfast commitment to social and economic equality. He lamented the adverse impacts of economic disparities, demonetization, and GST on the nation’s youth, emphasizing the urgent need for equitable opportunities and empowerment.

The yatra traversed various neighborhoods of Dhanbad city, including Saraidhela, IIT-ISM Gate, Randhir Verma Chowk, and Shramik Chowk, culminating in a vibrant public rally at Bank More. Gandhi’s interactions with coal miners and their families underscored his grassroots approach and empathetic engagement with marginalized communities.

Congress MP Jairam Ramesh echoed Rahul Gandhi’s sentiments, invoking the legacy of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and lauding the monumental contributions to India’s economic development. Ramesh decried the Modi government’s policies, alleging systemic injustices against industrialists, workers, and farmers in favor of a select few businessmen.

Amidst the fervor of the yatra, Rahul Gandhi’s rallying cry against inequality and injustice resonated deeply with supporters. His impassioned rhetoric underscored the urgent imperative for inclusive economic policies and social justice initiatives.

As the yatra progresses through Jharkhand’s heartland, Gandhi’s unwavering resolve and commitment to grassroots activism serve as a beacon of hope for disenfranchised communities. With the night halt scheduled in Ramgarh district, the yatra continues its onward journey, symbolizing the enduring spirit of advocacy and reform.

Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, spanning 804 kilometers across 13 districts, embodies the Congress’s unwavering commitment to championing the cause of the marginalized and upholding the principles of social equity and economic justice in India’s democratic fabric.
